1. Describe three ways that computers have made the world safer and less safe.

Computers have made the world safe in a plethora of ways. Starting with communication, we can now communicate in a instant with computers and transfer all kinds of information. Before computers humans communication would take days and weeks to reach one and another. Today we have emails which is a communicating source that is an instant when a digital device such as a computer is connected to a network. This makes the world safer because communication does not need to be in person therefore information can be shared with less conflict opposed to the likelihood of in person conflict. Computers vision has improved surveillance tremendously. Computer vision allows computer to see, identify and process images or videos better than the human eye can. This technology and capability of the computer is a key use in evidence. For example when a camera system captures a crime scene, yet the footage is unclear to the humans naked eye; computer systems can arrange the pixels and digital image as a whole to more clearly identify the victim and suspects within crimes scenes. This makes the world safer by getting criminals off the streets without the need of humans being in position to witness each crime. Encryption and credentials options that are places on accounts are not buffed up more than ever which has made cyber criminals attempts to attack more difficult. Although computers have made the world a lot more convenient it has also made it less safe in several aspects. Since the world is more connected than ever, cyber criminals can make attacks on nearly anything in the world because the digital world is evolving by the day. AI is a major project that is continuously evolving for the good, although cyber criminals have manipulated ways that have endangered people. Weaponization of AI and attacks that have occurred where computers have been taken over has made the world a lot less safer.
