After rereading my first blog entry, my expectations in the beginning of the course were very much correct. This course was a lot of work, an required a lot of reading. One way I think I have grown academically would be prioritizing my time. I was able to stay on top of my work except for maybe a few blogs that just got away from me, no one is perfect! My attitude toward social psychology changed a little bit. I thought this class was going to be extremely boring with a lot of topics I would not be interested in, but there were quite a few that kept me engaged for the most part. I feel I have achieved a pretty decent understanding of the course objectives over the semester. Especially when referring to what influences us to like someone. If I took this class again, I honestly would not change a thing that I had done, other than figuring out how to better work this wordpress site. One skill I gained in this class that I can use in my personal life is time management. i’m the type of person that tries to get everything done at once so I do not have to worry about it later on. I learned that it’s ok to do a little at time and turn things in bit by bit. It took a lot of stress off of me this semester with all of my other classes I was taking.
