My name is Jan (pronounced “Yawn”). I am a Cybersecurity major and a junior. I just transferred from TCC, and it’s my first semester at ODU. I was born in Rzeszów, Poland, and moved to the United States as a teenager. I served in the military as an IT (Information Systems Technician) and am now using my VA benefits to pursue this degree. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and traveling. I have visited many different countries, some through the military and others purely out of personal interest. I currently hold CompTIA certifications for A+, Network+, Security+ and SecurityX.
