The overlap between criminal justice and cybercrime is that these two will continue to move forward causing our justice system to include more cyber laws. As time goes on and crimes can also be digitalized we need to adapt our justice system, cybercrimes can also have physical evidence, it’s not all digital. They overlap because crimes can now be committed using technology, especially since there are some cases that haven’t happened before so the justice system has to make heavy decisions. These two will continue to overlap because they go hand in hand, people will face consequences for hacking or stealing important information from companies or individuals. This overlap relates to other disciplines discussed in class because I can relate it to internal problems organizations face from rogue employees. There are some people in the workforce that feel like they should take out their anger by risking the company’s future. I think internal problems are serious, but outside hackers can really try to put you out of business. There are multiple ways these two subjects overlap, but for certain as time goes on these two will continue to have similarities.
