I can tell if my computer is safe because when I am surfing the web, I use a VPN. No matter what network I am logged into, whether public or private, I always make sure my VPN is on. The VPN I use is SurfShark. It is easy to use, and it is low cost. It also has a built-in virus detector and does daily scans that run in the background, so I do not even know that is currently scanning. It gives me an in-app notification so that way if Whenever I send network packets across the internet the VPN will encrypt all the data. That way if there is a man-in-the-middle attack the malicious user would get gibberish on their end. get a desktop notification I would know it is fraud.

Another way I can tell if my computer is safe is because I have biometric authentication set up so that way only, I will be able to log into my laptop. Whenever I leave the computer, I make sure I lock the computer so that way no one can use it without me knowing. I also rely on google to come up with strong unique passwords for all my accounts on the internet, except a selected few. That way all I have to do is memorize the password I made for google and I can log in to website accounts in a flash.

The last way I can tell if my computer is safe is by not falling for any phishing attempts. Whenever I see a suspicious email, I automatically delete it. Gmail filters out all spam emails but sometimes some may slip through. Whenever I get an email that seems legit I check its certificate. This ensures that the senders are who they say they are.
