The United States is the worlds leading content provider when it comes to the internet. However, the countries that fall victim to phishing attempts the most are Brazil, Portugal, and France. All of them have a percentage above 17% of users who fall victim. When it comes to malware being downloaded to a personal computer Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Latvia are the highest being above 7% for all of them. On the other hand, the countries that fall the most victim to local malware attacks are Tajikistan, Bangladesh, and Uzbekistan all being above 35%. These numbers show that Bangladesh needs to implement better cyber laws in its country.

Here are the more positive outcomes of countries that have a great cyber security foundation. The most secure countries around the world include Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and Ireland.  Denmark, Finland, and Ireland all have the best percentage when it comes to local malware attacks. All of them are less the 4% of computer users experience at least one local malware attack. Local spam is hardly an issue in Haiti, Tajikistan, Oman, and Qatar, in fact, all these countries have less than .03% fall victim to spam. Lastly, Haiti, Denmark, and Sweden have the least number of phishers. Of them, less than 4% of users fall victim.

The United States does not compare to the most secure countries. In fact, the US is caught in the middle between the most secure countries and the least secure.
