Sports media in my opinion is the future of all sports. Everything you need to know will be on social media. I use an app called FotMob and that is what helps me be caught up with everything in soccer. From injuries to gossip and from scores and to upcoming games. Also when the transfer window is open social media is popping with different types of news on where players are going and might be going. One campaign that was a major deal was the #blacklivesmatter movement. Every player from all types of teams starting supporting it and also following it by wearing shirts that would say #BLM. I feel like that is a big deal because players from other parts of the world were giving there support when it happened in the United States. That situation was a major upset to the whole world because no one is with racism. All the people knew it wasn’t right and some racist conflicts always happen, even on the field. There was a situation with the English teams in the Barclays premier league Liverpool and Manchester United where Luis Suarez refused to shake Patrice Evra before a match and it was said that he was making racist comments at him on the field during the game. That caused major chaos and problems to the team it had put a bad reputation for Liverpool.
