My work centers on how people experience complex systems \u2014 especially when those systems become fragmented, overwhelming, or difficult to navigate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m especially interested in reducing administrative burden, improving coordination across services, and designing workflows that strengthen trust between institutions and the communities they serve. Long term, I hope to contribute to more human-centered approaches to housing, education, and public service systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Post\u2011Graduation Goals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After graduating from ODU, I plan to pursue a PhD in Human-Centered Design &amp; Engineering, with a focus on sociotechnical systems, implementation design, and public-sector innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the long term, I hope to help build more human-centered housing, education, and public service systems. I\u2019m interested in building tools, workflows, and communication systems that make critical services more accessible, coordinated, and sustainable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Internship Description <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">(College Board Teamship \u2013 LogentIQ)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>During Summer 2026, I completed a College Board Teamship internship with LogentIQ, a workflow automation and operational strategy company focused on helping organizations improve execution and reduce operational bottlenecks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rather than working on a hypothetical case study, our team operated inside a real business environment with real constraints, competing priorities, and live operational challenges. My primary responsibility was co-developing the LogentIQ Growth Blueprint \u2014 a four-phase strategic framework designed to support immediate revenue generation while creating a scalable long-term growth model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>My work included:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Conducting market and audience analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying operational bottlenecks affecting growth and conversion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing customer engagement and outreach strategies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Structuring short-cycle service offerings for faster revenue generation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing a scalable implementation model through university partnerships (LUIN) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presenting strategic recommendations directly to company leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This experience strengthened my ability to connect systems thinking with practical execution and reinforced the importance of designing solutions that work under real-world constraints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reflection on My Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Participating in Teamship and working directly with LogentIQ was one of the most meaningful applied-learning experiences I\u2019ve had at ODU because it required balancing strategy, adaptability, communication, and execution in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our project focused on identifying where LogentIQ\u2019s growth was getting stuck and how those bottlenecks could be addressed systematically. Early on, we realized the issue wasn\u2019t simply lead generation \u2014 it was sequencing, trust-building, operational capacity, and creating a model that could scale sustainably without overwhelming the founder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From there, we developed a four-phase Growth Blueprint designed to prioritize immediate cash flow, establish credibility through case-study development, create a filtered lead-conversion process, and eventually expand into a scalable university-supported implementation network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most valuable lessons I gained from this experience was the importance of sequencing within systems design. Effective growth depends on building the right foundations in the right order. You cannot scale sustainably without trust, operational clarity, and proven execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The experience also required adaptability under pressure. Unexpected team changes shortly before the final presentation meant responsibilities had to be reorganized quickly while still maintaining a strong and professional final deliverable.
