There are around 11 illegal things that a common technology user unknowingly does. The user uses unofficial streaming services, using torrent services, using copyrighted images, sharing passwords and addresses, bullying, recording a VoIP call without consent, faking your identity, using people’s internet networks, collecting information about children, extracting audio from services, and doing illegal searches on the internet. In my opinion, the five most serious of these actions include sharing passwords and addresses, bullying, faking your identity, collecting information about children, and using other people’s networks.

The reason I include sharing passwords and addresses at number one is because that is the most critical offense that a person can do. Getting someone’s account information, such as a bank, is a serious crime that should be avoided at all costs. Another terrible thing that you may do unknowingly is bullying. Bullying has been around for a long time and we as a society, need to avoid it in person and online. Bullying can lead to a person getting depression and worst of all committing suicide which nobody should wish upon anyone. Faking your identity online is terrible for many reasons. One really bad reason includes making a fake identity so you can’t get caught doing something illegal. This is the main reason people make a fake identity, so avoid doing so as it looks very bad.

One of the worst things societies can do is prey on innocent young children. Parents need to monitor what social media platforms their kid is using so that they are not vulnerable to predatory attacks. Lastly using other peoples’ networks without consent is a terrible idea as that person may be able to access all your account information that you store online so avoid randomly joining public networks.
