A bug bounty is a reward offered to a person who is able to identify vulnerabilities and errors in a computer program. This is a great way to get more systems checked for vulnerabilities they have is they don’t have anyone on site that knows how to do so. What the company will do is find somebody who is skilled with hacking, then have the person try to find security vulnerabilities within the system. The reason the company rewarding them is a good idea is because it makes the cybersecurity expert try to find every vulnerability and not slack off.  However not all companies are able to spend big money of hiring someone to complete this task and that unfortunately means experts in this field will not want to accept the reward that they are being offered because the price is lowered. In order to maintain a security within the systems that the companies are using, I believe that there need to be a cybersecurity position available in all companies to ensure security. Companies need to take part of their income and put it into cybersecurity.
