Article Review #1 Promoting research on cyber threat intelligence sharing in ecosystems

In this article that I’m reviewing the topic “Promoting research on cyber threat intelligence sharing in ecosystems” relates to the principles of social science by describing the concepts and how improving CTI sharing can have strength over cyber threats. My opinion on CTI sharing is, I agree that it is needed and how companies need to practice it more to be successful while using it. The benefits of having the knowledge and practice in it is something that will keep companies ahead and on track.

Improving the study of CTI sharing is how companies today will be able to thrive. Without having CTI sharing there would be no way to know what is being shared, who is sharing, how they shared it, and when they did it. With CTI companies and services expected to grow by “32.8% by 2028”, this is now a great time for these companies to focus on the importance of it and improve.

CTI sharing is one of the practices in cybersecurity that is underdeveloped. With that being said, that’s a challenge that companies face because they will struggle to know common factors that tie into this type of sharing. When it comes to CTI sharing a good factor that comes with it is the trust that is in it. Trust is something big in the IT world, because cybersecurity is how people stay safe and trust certain features with information and the ability to use those features.

Theres a few contributions on “Promoting research on cyber threat intelligence sharing in ecosystems”. The expansion side of it, how unique it is to use CTI sharing. The trust that goes into it allowing exchange in important information getting to destinations safely. The benefits of security still being strong, while also having the ability to do collaboration work.

In conclusion, CTI sharing is something that needs to be looked into more. The pros of learning and putting it to use outweighs the cons. This is something that companies and cybersecurity specialists won’t regret using. Businesses will be making the right investments in CTI sharing because it will help them stay in business.
