The practice of paying hackers to try and hack and see what they can do to the network is a good way to be prepared from real hackers. Company’s pay the hackers to do it, even though the company is putting money out it doesn’t compare to how much money they would have to put out if a real situation happened where real hackers got into the networks and got ahold of all the information. When a company gets hacked the amount of money that has to be put out for repairs, customers, professionals, and sometimes even legal fees if it goes that far is a large amount.
