With this in mind, it\u2019s unthinkable to make a device to support our body\u2019s locomotion without first thinking about the skeletal system. Osteocytes are immensely important in the skeletal system and overall homeostasis due to their regulatory function. Some of the Osteocytes key functions is regulating bone density and strength, regulating the amount of nutrients stored in the bone, regulating the amount of bone that\u2019s broken down to supply the body\u2019s nutrient needs, among others.
