These tasks relate to social behavior in many ways. First, cyber threats originate from human behavior. This can be through malicious insiders, social engineering, or human error. For this example, cybersecurity analysts need to analyze patterns of behavior within an organization or conduct social engineering tests to identify vulnerabilities. Second, cybersecurity analysts need to be able to communicate effectively with other members of the organization to implement security protocols and address potential risks. Lastly, cybersecurity analysts May need to train employees on best practices for cybersecurity (cyber-hygiene) and data privacy. This involves understanding how people perceive and interact with technology and information. They also May have to develop training programs or policies that take into account social behaviors and attitudes toward cybersecurity.
