Compare cybersecurity risks in the U.S. and another country.
When it comes to comparing cybersecurity risks between countries, the first country that comes in my mind is my native country, Pakistan. Now when I think of Pakistan and cybersecurity the first thought that comes to mind is that there is no way pakistan has a stronger cybersecurity infrastructure than the US government or any strong US buisness at that. Even with the US having a stronger technical load out, both countries face cybersecurity challenges. With the United States being a technologically advanced country, there is a high level of connectivityand reliance on digital systems, which makes it aattractive target for cybercriminals. The US has experienced a significant amount of cyber attacks targeting government agencies, buisnesses, and individuals. These risks include data breaches, ransomware attacks, and hacking attempts. However the US has very strong cybersecurity protocols in place to protect from these types of occurances. Pakistan, like many other developing countries, is also vulnerable to cybersecurity risks and definitely more vulnerable than the US. While the level of technological infrastructure may be comparitively lower, the increasing adoption of digital technologies and internet usage has made Pakistan more exposed to cyber threats. These risks in Pakistan include phishing attacks, malware infections, and unauthorized access to top secret materials. However just like every other country in the world, Pakistan is working on strengthening its cybersecurity capabilities, with the government implementing cyber protocols to enhance protection. It is important to keep in mind that cybersecurity risks are not limited to just one or 2 specific countries but are present in all countries all around the world. It is important for all countries to be prepared and continue to expand their levels of knowledge in the field of cybersecurity so that they can be prepared in the event of a cyber breach in their system. Both the US and Pakistan, along with other countries, face common threats and challenges when combatting cyber threats.
