Describe three ways that computers have made the world safer and less safe.

Computers have ahad a very significant impact on the safety of our world. Some impacts for better and some for worse. First lets talk about 3 ways that computers have made the world safer. First off, computers have enhanced our way of communicating. Computers have revolutionized communication, making it so easy for us to communicate with people all across the world with the click of a button. This has made reaching out for help in critical emergencies much easier for us and helping us in dier times of need. Another thing to look at on the safer side would be improved forms of security systems. Computers have greatly enhanced security systems by making them much stronger and efficient. Things like security cameras, access control systems, forms of authentication. These advancements have helped reduce crime levels and identify criminals as well as keeping our communities safe and protected. The last major thing that comes to mind when thinking of the benefits computers have brought would be medical advancements. Computers have completely revolutionized the medical field by enabling strong diagnostic tools, digital helath records, and other forms of treatments. These technical advancements have provided much greater patient care, reduced medical errors, and allowed for much faster rate of recovery and diagnoses for patients, even saving lives. Although the plus side is very strong there is also a side of negatives, next we will talk about how computers may have made the world less safe. First thing that comes to mind would be cybercrimes. With the growth of computers, there has also been a growth in cybercrimes such as hacking, breaches, etc. Hackers can exploit vulnerbilities which can lead to breaches that can leak personal data and user information. Another safety issue would be provacy concerns. Computers have made it easier to collect and store provate information which could be with or without consent. This has raised many concerns about privacy as our personal information can be used analyzed and monitored without our consent. Keeping our personal data provate has become a great issue in the cyber world. The last thing that comes to mind would be our reliablility on these computers. As time goes on we become more and more dependant on our computers to rmemeber and store certain forms of data. If anything ever goes wrong on these devices we will have no forms of back up or lifeline to protect these forms of data. something like a system failure or a technological glitch can end up having a far more devestating impact on ourlives than we think. It is important to aknowledge both the safe and not so safe sides of a computer. We have to make sure to do our research so we are educated on the positives and negatives so we can keep ourselves protected.
