Describe four ethical issues that arise when storing electronic information about individuals.

Taking the necessary steps for maintaining privacy and confidentiality is the primary issue and challenges every organisation faces while storing the individual information electronically. The individuals information should be only shared with the other persons if they are allowed, authorised and right person to be shared. Individuals data must be protected using secured protection mechanism. When this data is used to be shared through network channel then there should be effective encryption mechanism implemented for secure transmission of the electronic data. We can maintain the confidentiality of the data by creating a mechanism due to which only authorised persons can have access to the individuals electronic data. By using such methods we can implement and maintain confidentiality and privacy of individuals electronic data.

Data and Security Breaches

Currently various kinds of data as well as security breaches are occurring on electronic data.
Due to which there should be necessary mechanism by which we can avoid data and security breaches.
Security and data breaches occurred in a situation when the individuals electronic data is made available to third person party without the permission from the individuals and also without identifying the right authorised person. The application of two way authentication systems using password and tokens can help in avoiding data and security breaches.

System Implementation challenges

There are different system implementation challenges which need to be solved for storing electronic information about individuals in a secured system storage. Following are some of the challenges such as:
Less efficient system, Lack of resources required for secure storage of electronic data, Proper use of storage platform and services, Wasting of resources, etc. There are different individuals and stakeholders that are required in developing, implementing and managing secured electronic storage system. For implementing efficient system we need to have proper workflow of the different components and services Implementing efficient resources required for storage. Selection of adequate storage platform for storing electronic data Designing well structured Architecture by consisting whole system as a unit.

Poorly Developed Interface

The interfaces are created at the time of integrating two different systems. Interface forms one Bridge/layer between these two different systems. The interfaces are a major factor of overall implementation of electronic data storage process. Therefore the risk involved in the interface are of higher severity which need to be manage in earlier stages of implementation process. Poorly developed interfaces leads to decreasing the time efficiency of the system and also so it directly effect on storage of individuals data in the electronic form. Because of these reasons the interface should be efficient it and which can easily integrate two different systems during its working.

Data integrity issues

Data integrity issues happens when there is inaccurate and duplicate electronic information about individuals appeared in the system. Data integrity issues directly affect and quality and the services of the system. Because of this it should be managed well so that there should not be inaccuracies, errors and duplicate data in the system.
