Hello, I’m Eric Zhao. I’m a Freshman at ODU interested in majoring in Computer Science. I’ve studied Java and now I’m working to build my repertoire with Python. I am also looking to explore my career options related to Computer Science and how I could make effective use of my time at ODU.

I’ve developed simple programs in Java such as a simple calculator and a display for a user interface. I am currently working on a project to code Chess in Java and learning programming languages on the side.

I’ve worked in fast food for 6 months, organized events to raise money for charity, tutored coursework to peers, and led student organizations like Chess club to bring together students with common interests.
