Computers and technology have made the world safer and at the same token made it less safe. Computers have impacted our education system. Because of the invention of computers, we are able to access books online, attend class online if we can’t attend in person ie because of covid we aren’t able to be in class so we attend online school through zoom. Computers and technology has also impacted our ways of communication. Technology has allowed us to receive messages, emails, social networking, and electronic communication. Communication and social networking have given opportunities for those who are long distance to speak with their loved ones, like those deployed in the military, or away on work business. Now although computers have impacted us in a positive way it has affected us negatively as well. Sometimes people can get lost in their phones of whatever technology they own. Social media plays a major part in that. In doing so people can start to lose some of their social skills. Computers have also impacted the health industry. A lot of the time when you go to the doctor they have your information stored in the computer. And when a doctor comes into the room they bring in a computer with them. Now computers can sometimes have us at an disadvantage because of hackers. Technology has proven to be one of the main reasons as to why we are vulnerable to attacks both cyber and physical. Computers can not replace the things we have in the real world, we cannot simply rely on the computer for intelligence we must retain that ourselves. We must try to obtain information through verbal communication and not just through texts, but for right now its understandable given our circumstances. Our very own government keeps track with everything through technology and computers.
