In the\nfuture, I am going to use my Chemistry degree to work in a forensics lab and\nanalyze ballistics. My Chemistry degree and cybersecurity technology relate\nbecause I am in hopes going to be working in the security field. Although I\nwill be working with crimes that happen most likely in person and not with\nsomething that happens over the internet, they both are working towards\nbettering the security of an individual. Also in Chemistry it is important to\nhave the skills of working with technology, and understanding how it works. This\nwill allow someone who is in the Chemistry\/forensics field to figure out how a\ncrime occurred and the reasoning for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Select 4 other majors offered by ODU and explain how those majors relate to cybersecurity<\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>One major that relates to cybersecurity is Criminology.\nCriminology is the study of the law enforcement and criminal justice system. Overall\ncybersecurity is one aspect of the criminal justice system. Criminology and\ncybersecurity are there in order to protect individuals from attackers. Another\nmajor that relates to cybersecurity is biology. Biology can be used in the law\nenforcement field in order to figure out who committed a crime. This can be\ndone through DNA analysis of fingerprints, hair, or blood, so it is just another\nway to work in the field of law. Cybersecurity can be used to find the \u201cDNA\u201d of\nsomeone who is committing a crime online because most criminals have a\nsignature that they stick to, so that can be like their DNA. A third major that\nis related to cybersecurity is Business Administration. Business Administration\nrelates because in a business there needs to be a cybersecurity program and\nthis is something that the business administrator could take care of for the\ncompany. A fourth major that relates to cybersecurity is Information Systems\nand Technology. This major combines the technology aspect and the business\naspect needed to run a company. This type of knowledge that is needed in order\nto have a well-run cyber security program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How does your major relate to cybersecurity technology?
