Malcolm X once said, \u201cThe media\u2019s the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that\u2019s power. Because they control the minds of the masses\u201d. In the same way in our world today the media plays a prominent role in our perception of the world around us. Our understanding of cybersecurity is heavily influenced by the media. One example of this is the portrayal of hackers. They are often entirely inaccurate.
