My name is Elena Bedoya, and I was born and raised in Virginia. I am the first generation in my family to be born here, as both of my parents were born in Peru. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, both in writing and speaking. I am a single working mom to a wonderful and beautiful boy, who has been my main motivation in life. I have picked up a few hobbies over the years, such as weightlifting, soccer, and horseback riding. When I weightlift, I always set a goal to improve my squat or bench press. While I love playing soccer, it can be difficult to find the time for it with all the other responsibilities I have. I also enjoy hiking and traveling. During the warmer months, my son and I like to hit the trails in our area. As he grows older, we plan to explore different hiking spots, but for now, we will stick to the trails close to home.
