Hi everyone my name is Dion van der Aar! I am a freshman here at Old Dominion University and also play soccer here. I graduated high school a semester early so I could come to ODU and get ahead of the curve. I was born and grew up most of my life in Haarlem, Netherlands. My family is from Europe and only from Europe. Besides my mom, dad, brother, and I, half my family is from the Netherlands and the other half is from Poland. I see myself as a very fun, happy, and outgoing guy which allows me to get close to friends and meeting new people. I have a lot of hobbies but definitely don’t have enough time in the day, week, month, and year to do so. I love hanging out with friends, snowboarding, going to the beach, and playing soccer.
