This is one of my favorite pictures in my photo gallery. This picture was taken my junior year of high school in one of the biggest soccer games I’ve ever played in. My team and I made it to the Conference Championship Final with the determination and motivation to make school history with winning our tenth championship. As you can see in the picture we witnessed an unbelievable moment that we as friends and teammates will forever cherish in our hearts. This very second was start of me and my teammates sprint to our goalkeeper who made a heroic save to help us win in penalty kicks. There is significance in this photo quite simply because it was published in the Virginia Pilot newspaper, which had a full article expressing the long and hard fought season we as a program took on together. As I already stated before, this photo recreates memories that I will always look back at and forever be thankful for.
