The first five weeks of this class for me were very obscured and indefinite in the class. Not that the content of the class was hard but getting on the right track and knowing what is going on in the class was. It has been very difficult to get organized with the class. The way this class is, assignments are mainly completed electronically and assigned electronically as well. I was not used to this transition and to me the getting into the routine of creating a website and using it to post our assignments is something that has been nothing less than a struggle for me.
The writing assignments that we are assigned though can be tedious, I still partially appreciate them because the topics that we are assigned to write our essays on are topics that benefit my thinking and writing skills. The journals we have to write can add up, but that exercise alone is actually pretty helpful just to get your mind jogging on your process of writing an essay and how you’re going to organize it as well. Practicing the journals so far has allowed my expand my ways of completing a writing assignment and how I construct one.
Lastly, my participation in the class is something I believe that can be accused of being at fault, too some extent, I do appreciate the class, but if I could be enrolled in the class and not actually have to attend the class sessions, I’d be perfectly content with that as well. I try to participate as much as I can in class, but from what I’ve experienced, it almost seems that there is just no way to make teaching the class amusing to where the class can actually feel like they’re enjoying the time they have to attend the class.
