Managing money

Right now I have a job at Zero’s subs behind the Ted Constant, where majority of my money comes from. Along with that I will get the monthly allowance from my family and occasional holidays. I honestly thought that would be enough for me but in college, I’ve found that saving money is almost inevitable. On top of paying for general fraternal dues there are events/activities that we hold that obviously require funding. On top the countless superficial miscellaneous and impulsive purchases that I tend to make, things really can add up. On top of that can come instances of just being a generous friend and maybe lending someone money. The only plan I can draw up for myself thus far to fix my financial issues is to set a budget for set of things I usually spend my money on. I’ve put them in a prioritized order, with the subject with the highest significance holds the highest priority thus the most money invested which I will keep out of reach just so I’m not tempted to spend it. I will still keep a small budget for things under superficial importance so I can at least be spending less money in general on miscellaneous food purchases and such and save it for productive items I can actually purchase.
