I felt that did ok with accomplishing the course objectives . My perspectives about this course has changed throughout this semester by it opening my mind about how to view culture.in psychological way. A few things that I would do differently by taking better notes as I m reading and ask more questions. One way I grew educationally is to learn how to think more critically in school and apply to my life. A skill that I learned to follow direction better especially for my professional career as communication administrator.

The top 3 items I learned so far was about Culture and Gender ,culture / identity , and culture& personality. One of this term I incorporated with the blog 6 that explain about autonomy of competence and relatedness to help influence my me get better with academics habits. This blog applies to assignment takeaway 3 because a student have to use relations and competence to help enhance their learning begin aboard. The term from Cross Cultural psychology the Five Factor Theory (FFT) is expressed in biological sense and cultural sense .Then In Communications FFT is perceived as tendencies is depend on the individual and their predisposition to create their identity. The FFT is based on the person from another culture and their own willingness to form their identity for themselves.

One occasion I have seen individuals from another culture convey themselves was when I was at my grandparent’s 75th birthday party. Some of the people that were invited that were were white and African Americans they used facial expression and some verbal expressions to express themselves. The people reactions were looking curious ,interested and surprised. A few examples of the people reaction was in the eyes area and mouth area. A few of my assumptions of their was I assumed that this individuals were going to be surprised and curious. Their reactions were comparable to my assumptions about how they behaved. Their behavior was similar to my expectations because I had an idea that how people for other races would react. Yes I think the term of universality and the cultural shows rules to help discuss some of my experiences The universality is shown that various race of guest all share similar reaction and emotions when they show up to the party. According to the article of Emotion Perception Across culture suggested that “Caucasians are expected to show their facial expression for the eyebrows and mouth portion”( para 6).

The best example of movie that share values and culture norms’. The movie Hidden Figures the about sending the astronauts to space by all women. The main character roles Kathrine Johnson she was the first African American women in NASA as mathematician. I can identify with this cast member by the role of this women begin a minority in man’s job . Yes this positively affected me by having the courage to take main job role in mainly man’s occupation. This movie and the main actor shows egalitarian part by her breaking the barrier as minority and women. She should have the same rights as men should in this capacity. My thoughts do think that the movie entails the cultural standards and values by Hidden Figures continues the custom of the film show inclusivity of gender and culture.

The statement s that I think that I can correlate with the Independent construal self for example are 1,8, and 10.The statements I think that links to interdependent construal of self for example are 4,6,and 9.I think my answers are more interdependent. Interdependent self- care for other people, Interdependent self- me hanging out with my boyfriend . Independent self-begin smart. I think it was simpler to think of the proverb that cerebrate Interdependent self was easier to focus on. The few reasons are that I like to put others before more self. Another idea for my tendency is that I like to help out other people than myself.

I have got educated of the fact to go over notes after I take them. Another thing I learned was to go over the terms that I do not I understand . No I did not enhance my notes while I was reading. This is based one on the assessment and my results .My top personality is consistent because I can see myself like that. One example of when something does not go my way i start to complain about it. I think one of my belief that is important to me is being punctual for work, dress nicely to nice places and work hard. Then some of the various experiences in my life when I was told professional Doctors that I never would make to college. This situation help made my this feasible because this gave me the motivation I need to work harder and get accept in to college . I choose to continue to peruse higher educations because I can gain more knowledge of information that I can apply in real life and my career.
