I did not meet with an advisor because I felt like my website already had a solid rough draft to start from. Instead, I used the ODU ePortfolio YouTube tutorials and also watched some other general YouTube videos to help me improve my page. The biggest change I made was switching the overall theme of my website because the original one looked too blocky and not very minimalistic, which is the style I was going for. Changing the theme helped make the site look cleaner and more professional.
After that, I went through and adjusted different display settings to improve the overall appearance. I focused on keeping my images in a darker tone to stay consistent across the site and made sure my most recent post is always shown first so visitors immediately see my latest work. One issue I am still trying to fix is getting two blank tabs to display images correctly. Even though I have photos in all of my blog posts, those two tabs are not showing them like the others. I plan to keep working on this and may reach out to WordPress for help.
