I used a lot of the information from our interview, which was supported and expanded using publicly available sources online, including LinkedIn, YouTube videos, and past interviews. This made it easier to verify details and add more depth to Ted Alexander’s career beyond just one conversation. By comparing different sources, I was able to get a clearer picture of his background, education, and progression through broadcasting.

Using a mix of interview-style responses and online research, I created an infographic that outlines his journey from higher education to his long career in sports media. This made it easier to organize everything and present it clearly about his work, especially with Old Dominion University and his role as the “Voice of the Monarchs.” Working on this and learning about Ted Alexander’s career more in depth has encouraged and excited me more to pursue a career in sports, because it showed me how experience and hard work can lead to real opportunities in the field.
