Good evening, my name is Dominic Griffin II. Today I will be explaining some ethical issues we have in the cybersecurity field as in today. First off we have “Privacy.” This can cause and start many problems because some things people can break into and get all of your information that you put into a site. Always remember that putting everything on websites and especially your social and private information is not always safe, someone is always looking and figuring out ways to get into your account and possibly steal your important information. Next we have “Security Breaches.” This is a huge problem we have in the world today, people can access your bank information twice as fast due to all the advanced technology we have and new and better ways to do it. Hopefully this lets us see what we need to improve on and make sure that all the customers don’t have anything to worry about. Next we have “Private credit card websites,” These websites are easy to obtain and ask for none of your information and do third party transitions through online banking including cash app, navy federal, and many more other virtual bank companies. This has also been an uprising concern due to popular social media apps and people are getting other people’s bank information and spending their hard earned money on their needs and wants. I think that if their security was a little better we would not have this issue at all and it would attract more customers so the bank could earn more as well. Finally we have “Data Breaches.” These occur very often but people don’t really talk about them much, they cause way bigger and worse problems for the people that are trying to stop it but certain companies hire personal hackers to see if they can breach into their system to test their main base security.
