Good evening class, My name is Dominic Griffin II. Today I will be listing multiple majors that can relate to cybersecurity. The first major we have on this list is obviously “Computer science,” this is the most well known and well known major you can get that can relate to cybersecurity. In this case, in both classes you are on the internet pretty often and you are coming up with new ways on how to improve the future of technology. Next we have “criminology.” This major also relates to cybersecurity because we can look up certain things that can help us solve problems and look up information which also helps us find solutions to solve why people are doing things that are not legal. Therefore, we can work with each other because we are looking into the same thing and maybe the same coding and creating diagnostics for the problems that we have.

Next on our list is “engineering technology,” this relates to cybersecurity because of the technology itself. These two things help better the everyday process and make the things that we use everyday even better and help the people get a better understanding of how we can improve the simple things of everyday life and make it more easier and more accessible to everyone to enjoy. This might be my favorite one because you can create things with this major and it shows you how much we have improved over the years from a technology standpoint and how people do a great job and make life so much enjoyable. The second to last one we have on our list is “Computer Engineering,” this can improve how fast we get data. We already have very fast and reliable computers. In the future I know we are going to have way faster technology and faster ways to solve problems and create new ways to get smarter and educate us on more than each other. Most people love computers so they usually go with this major but if you minor in cybersecurity, you can get even more education to make the working process way faster and if you get to know what you can do, and have fun while your doing it, it doesn’t seem like a job it becomes a very fun and natural habit and a very fun hobby.
