Technology is everywhere, and is what links us humans to people across the globe. However each country will not face the same risk as the people here in the U.S., the country I will be comparing risk with will be Japan. Japan is one of the most technologically advanced countries that the world has to offer. A lot of different countries have took Japans lead when it comes to a lot of technological advances, Tokyo is one of the most influential cities due to its technological advances. Although this is a advanced country they lack proper security, it is said on average 1,000 companies networks are breach a week, while in America that is the annual total for the amount of breaches. It is also said that Japan does not have good cybersecurity in general, which is a huge risk especially because of all the technology that they have. Having a good cybersecurity department for anywhere no matter if it is for a company or the government, is beneficial to protecting the assets that can cause life threatening consequences if the information that was stolen gets to the public. Over the decades the cybersecurity portion has been getting better, but it still needs improvement. While in America the cyberspace is always being watched for different threats, both domestic and international threats are watched just in case someone is to try to break into any systems. The government is heavily guarded with specialist to ensure the safety of the country, if top secret information is to be publicized that would put the U.S. in have danger especially with different international groups that are wanting to attack. The biggest risk of all for the country of Japan is going to be the lack of security for the assets the country is trying to protect.
