Some perspectives to think about for this topic are 3 possible options. You have the perspective of the offender not being being found by the law, the second option can be the victim never gets a moment of peace due to technology, and Cyberstalking. Cyber technology has allowed people to get away with more than before. From cyberstalking and cyber harassment these are crimes that can get someone put in prison, however we as a country have not been able to properly assess the magnitude of how bad cyber threats can be to someone’s personal life. Now that online interactions exist people are a little harder to get away from that person due to online interactions. The law can have cybersecurity professionals on the case however some people who are cyberstalking tend to have tactics that can make it difficult for the law to locate and pursue the perpetrator. With this being said it can also be said the person is going to keep stalking the victim, the victim can receive unwanted attention that can make them feel uncomfortable; even after blocking the person, making a new social media or email, and ensuring that why are it able to get in contact is now not enough to stop someone from cyberstalking you. With cyberstalking comes harassment; most offenders will not just stop at stalking and will intentionally go out their way to make sure that the person is uncomfortable and interacting with them. That is the reason that many of the offenders are harassing the victim to solely get a reaction out of them. We can conclude that most people who are cyberstalking and cyber harassing is to make the victim uncomfortable, and with cyber technology it becomes harder to try and contain the problem, and to pursue the offender.
