The reason why I am so interested in the field of work is because it provides a lot of benefits not only advancement in the work place. When you look around technology is everywhere, I find it good that we as a society have taken technology in our lives well. Although nothing good is without it’s risk things such as cybercrime, fraud, and just overall illegal activity happens on the technology that we use day to day; Thats where cybersecurity comes in. Not only is this a growing industry but it also provides us as human some discipline when it comes to the use of technology, while obtaining a cybersecurity degree I will learn a lot regarding things of tech. With this information I am able to help others when it comes to the illegal activity others do on the internet, and things that one can do to technology. Humans can sometimes undermine the work of others until it to late bluetooth, your phone, computers, laptops, tablets, and more are all at risk to breaches of cybercrime, being a cybersecurity specialist you are peoples first defense when it comes to the breaches that occur. When working in this field you can be in the role of defender or offender, both are essential to the company that are using them. I would say being a defender would better suit me as a person who is always trying to be proactive to prevent the worst from happening, finding different ways to prevent something from happening is also mentally stimulating and would keep my brain flowing and have new ideas for different programs and applications. To sum it up this is a field that would benefit me especially being that I am a person who enjoys learning new things and researching ways to prevent the worst from happening to a person.
