How should markets, businesses, groups, and individuals be regulated or limited differently in the face of diminishing state power and the intelligification (Verbeek, p217) and networking of the material world?
Society, as we know it, is becoming increasingly online every day. As described in the article, everyday objects that were solely human-operated are now becoming devices within themselves. This revolution is seen as great in many ways as it is viewed to have made life easier. As a society, we must start regulating these things. If not we run the risk of having lives fully online instead of in the flesh. The government needs to instill laws and policies on these devices that monitor if something is done illegally. This will help combat any future issues that people could commit just online. As we become more technical the government will have to instill more policies to make sure citizens are safe.
