CYSE 301

This class introduced the techniques and capabilities used to analyze and secure computer systems and networks. The main focus areas throughout this class and had us use diagnostic software tools, conduct advanced packet analysis, configure firewalls on networks and systems, write intrusion detection rules, and practice techniques for penetration testing.

The assignment below is an example of a technical assignment completed in this class. The work done throughout this class showcases my skills by demonstrating my understanding of network security systems and applications and how to apply that knowledge in settings where access to privileged information must be protected in the interest of an organization and its stakeholders.
