The first question is how does cybersecurity relate to my major. I’m majoring in Communications of business, with that being said lots of my classes for my major follow underneath media of all types. In communications they use a lot of social media so of course cybersecurity comes into that, like how hackers try to breach business social accounts like twitter and instagram and etc for a good example. Communication is the skill of learning the proper ways to reach out to people and connect with them. With that being said communication has moved as a whole to the web so most ways people use to communicate is with social media and many other business applications. Which means it is in the mix with cybersecurity with people getting hacked all different ways. Cyber security is the security of technology their are different types of cybersecurity. It is the overall of all technology it follows on how to protect your computer it also the action of theft or act of hacking computers.  Another major that cybersecurity would be taken into consideration would be criminology since a lot of times when you talk about cybersecurity it’s because people are using it for criminal activity. It would show the different types of crimes used with technology. Communications Systems Technology takes effect in this major because through technology cybersecurity always takes place. The major of Cyber Security of course has something to do with cybersecurity with how technology collects information and data, also the overall how to protect and defend against hackers and cyber crimes. Computer engineering major is another one that relates with cybersecurity.  Computer engineering is learning how computers and technology works. They look at how to find bugs and scams and problems with it. Cybersecurity and computer engineering have many similarities.
