Maslow’s hierarchy of needs suggests that all humans have needs that exist on a hierarchical scale. The idea is built upon that as the lower level needs are met our focus shifts to meeting the upper levels of needs. His hierarchy consists of 5 levels starting from the bottom or the basic needs the physiological needs, safety needs, belongingness and love needs, esteem needs, and lastly, self-actualization. How these 5 levels relate to my experiences with technology, I would say that for some people it could be a physiological need I do not believe that I personally have a digital experience in which I had a physiological need for technology. The safety need level however like accounts of social media, etc. getting hacked and things with my personal information I have experienced as probably most of society. The belongingness and love needs through my digital experiences is keeping in touch with friends through social media or other platforms, and finding new relationships through the digital realm. Esteem needs and self-actualization I do not have personal experience through digital experiences.
