Principles of science such as relativism, objectivity, and parsimony are just a few of an array of scientific principles. These 3 in particular I am going to relate to the concept of cybersecurity. Firstly, the principle relativism is defined as all things are related like a change of one aspect lead to the of changes of another. For example policy surrounding cybersecurity and its implementation through the criminal justice system is directly resulting from the new technological advances. I think the principle of objectivity heavily correlates to cybersecurity. Objectivity in the cybersecurity realm is detrimental in the safety and security of networks however is extremely hard for us as people with our own bias and opinions to stay truly objective on topics within the space. Lastly, parsimony, this principle relates to cybersecurity by simply being concise and clear about the explanations that surround the ins and outs of the space.
