CYSE 201S Journal 4: Review Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and explain how each level relates to your experiences with technology. Give specific examples of how your digital experiences relate to each level of need

Maslow’s hierarchy of needs relates to my experiences with technology in the sense that there are certain technologies that I need everyday and all the time, and there are some that are not as important to me. At the very bottom level I would put social media. I browse social media often, but I don’t post anything on it, and it’s not as important as other digital technologies in my life. At the second to bottom level I would put TV. I like to watch TV but I don’t watch it enough to justify it being any higher on the pyramid. In the middle level I would put my playstation. I like to play video games and I use my playstation almost everyday, but it isn’t the most important thing in my life and definitely not as important as other things. At the second to top I would put my phone. My phone is very important to me, as it allows me to communicate with friends and family, communicate with co-workers, and keep up to date with school. At the very top of the pyramid I would put my computer. My computer allows me to do most of my schoolwork and without it I would not be able to pass my classes.
