The system allows for<br>both on-site and remote data collection from industrial equipment and is composed of both<br>hardware and software components. SCADA is a supervisory system that gathers all the<br>required data about the process. The device that a human operator uses; the operator receives<br>all processed data.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How does it work?<br>Scada is made up of three main system components. They guarantee the information is<br>transferred from the equipment that is monitored and where data is analyzed and used for<br>reporting. The Architecture is the Programmable Logic Controllers(PLCs) or Remote Terminal<br>Units (RTUs). These are what you call microcomputers that interact with equipment (also called<br>field devices) on the one hand, and HMIs, which are Human Machine Interfaces.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why is SCADA important?<br>Scada benefits in many ways. They optimize production and control the production according<br>to regulations in the industry. In a lot of cases, SCADA systems are used to also troubleshoot<br>purposes, securing production flow requires a lot of maintenance without a lot of mistakes.<br>Employees had to supervise, manage, and respond to new problems as they arose.
