Summary One – Strengths, Weaknesses, and Readiness.

Strengths, Weaknesses, and Readiness.

Since I moved to the US, I am trying to improve all of my English skills in many ways such as reading, writing, speaking, and vocabulary. While you are trying to improve one of your skills, the most important thing is to know your weaknesses, strength, and readiness, so that you do not focus to a point that you are already good at it. If you know your weaknesses and strengths about something that you are trying to improve, that is a good sign already, because it all starts with knowing your weaknesses and strengths. If you are trying to improve your writing skills, the best way to find your weaknesses and strengths is to follow all of the rules about writing a good essay and go through your past writings.

I wasn’t so sure about what my weaknesses and strengths where. Thanks to my journal, now I know almost all of them. I always thought my only weaknesses were vocabulary and grammar, but there were more. I learned that, a good essay is not all about grammar or vocabulary. A good essay has to follow many rules like thesis statement. Unfortunately, knowing the rules or your weaknesses doesn’t make the essay better. It needs time to improve your skills and that means you need to keep writing. You should never be despair and you should never give up, because you are not the only one that is struggling with writing or anything else.

What I learned from my journal is another start. Whenever I go through my journal, I believe that I will fix one more mistake that I was doing before. To the new writers, my suggestion would be keep a journal and whenever you learn a mistake you were doing, take a note down so when you go back and read your journal you will see that you are much better than before.
