Summary One – Strengths, Weaknesses, and Readiness.

As college started things became very more difficult and writing was apart of that. Over the past couple of weeks I have been able to try and improve my writing in my first english class as a college student. I feel as if I have come a long way since the first day in this class not only as a writer but as a student also. I believe that I have noticed growth in my writing thus far. I feel as if it just keeps getting better and better each day that we write. I will not lie, when I started college I struggled in many ways but now I feel like I have transitioned to a life of a normal college student. So not only has my writing in college grown but my whole transition into college has seen noticeable growth in many particular ways. I think that from day one I wanted to improve my life and writing but, I really started to notice a change in everything after about two weeks of class. Luckily it didn’t take too long but I had some rough paths along the way by forgetting due dates on some of my assignments. I feel like out of all the journal entries that the main one that made a huge impact on me was the one talking about note taking. Note taking is a very important key in passing classes in college and I have learned that the hard way, which is not good. When writing about it though, it made me really realize I needed to improve on that area of my school work. The journal entries have really helped me and I have seen growth in not only my writing but also college transition. I hope to keep it up and keep improving.
