I truly appreciate my experience with my UNIV 150 course. Ms. Skrobacki was such a big help with my writing process and with the way I view my writing assignments. Having this course, made me actually take the time out to plan how I would tackle small and major writing assignments. One thing I learned was that your writing process begins as soon as you get you writing assignment, but your process can be a repeated cycle. Another main point I learned from this class is that every writer has there own unique writing style and technique. When I first started this class in August, I struggled with the common writing problems like staying on topic, putting commas in the right place, knowing when to place a semicolon, editing and preparing myself to complete my assignment in its entirety. UNIV 150 helped me with all these problems. While giving me the confidence I needed with my writing. I still have room for improvement, but I know that I will continue to get better.We gave oral presentations which I’m not to fond of doing, but it gave me confidence. I am truly grateful that I was required to take this course, it helped me become a better writer.
