Through the viewpoint of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, I am able to look into the ways I interact with technology. Basic digital solutions, such as communication apps that allow one to interact with loved ones and ensure a sense of belonging, meet physiological needs. Online security measures are crucial for protecting personal information and establishing a digital safe haven when it comes to safety concerns. Social media platforms serve as a vehicle for social needs, promoting relationships and self-worth through virtual acknowledgment. Lastly, learning resources and creative outlets help people become more self-actualized by fostering knowledge expansion and individual expression. Fundamentally, technology—from low-level tools to high-level systems—intertwines itself into meeting a variety of requirements, reflecting Maslow’s hierarchy of needs in the digital sphere.
