The second half of this semester has been a great one. Attendance in University 150 is key. The more a student goes to class the more practice they get for writing. Going to each class has helped me out so much that I was able to pass my mid term. The mid term was fairly easy for because i have been practicing a lot. I have been coming on time so i haven’t been missing any material in class. There are a lot of students that show up late or don’t go to class and they don’t know what is going on in class. I have had students text me asking if an assignment is due the day after it is due. Classroom behavior is important because the classroom is similar to the work area. A student needs to come to class with the same respect and integrity. If you don’t respect your professor, then he or she won’t give you a good grade. The essays have been very helpful to prepare for the writing placement test. Every essay, I go to the student success center and have my essay reviewed. They would tell my what grammar errors i have made. Also, they tell me what I can do to improve it. Every essay is like extra practice to get a perfect score. Knowing what grammar errors I have been making is very important, \u00a0so i know what i should be studying more often. I have had problems with parallel structures. My professor gave us grammar worksheets that helped me improve this skill. I feel that I am prepared for English 110.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
