names online. Many people do this to protect their privacy, but it can actually be illegal because
some sites need accurate information to verify who you are.
Sharing passwords for streaming services is another thing that a lot of us do. It seems harmless,
but it can violate the service\u2019s terms and be considered theft in some places, which might lead to
fines or legal trouble. Slynchuk also explains the risks of torrenting. Downloading movies,
music, or software this way can be illegal since it often involves sharing copyrighted material
without permission. This could lead to big fines or even lawsuits from the companies that own
