Old Dominion University offers many bachelor degree programs and a lot in relation to Cybersecurity. I went onto odu.edu to find some majors that can fall under the cybersecurity branch and the first one is Cyber Operations. Cyber Operations majors will be grounded in computer science, computer engineering, and/or electrical engineering disciplines. Some of the Careers that can be pursued by someone with this degree are Information Security Analysts, Computer Systems Analysts, and Network and Computer Systems Administrators. A second major offered by ODU that relates is Cybercrime and it prepares students for occupations in law enforcement and information technology. Some careers one could go into through this major are Intelligence Analysts, Criminal Investigators and Special Agents, and Forensic Science Technicians. A third major is Computer Science and students learn emerging software development approaches through theory-centric and application-centric coursework. Some careers you can get in this major Web Administrators, Information Security Analysts, and Web Developers. A fourth major related to cybersecurity is the major Cybersecurity and it prepares graduates with the skills necessary to protect computer systems, networks, and online data from attack and compromise. And some careers are Security Management Specialists, and Network and Computer Systems Administrators.
