Find a Meme

I picked this specific meme because it pertains very well to cell biology in terms of cell division. This meme focuses, rather lightly, on mitosis which is the process that replicates chromosomes and produces two identical nuclei, which in turn prepares for cell division. The five stages in mitosis are prophase, prometaphase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. The picture starts with prophase, with the condensing chromosome with two chromatids held together at the kinetochore. It then switches to prometaphase where the chromosomes are getting ready to enter metaphase, where they position themselves in the center with the spindle poles on either end. In anaphase the separated chromatids are pulled towards the poles on each side. It then goes to telophase with nuclear envelopes wrapping around the chromosomes. It also shows cytokinesis.

On the other hand it is also a pun, and I am an avid fan of puns.
