Hello my name is Alyssa Pici, and I am interested in Cybersecurity because when I took the class in high school I found the subject very engaging. I like the idea of protecting a company or business by thinking ahead of potential attacks. I feel as if I would always have to think outside of the box to grow with new threats, and that sounds like a job I would really enjoy.

The cybercrime major is able to use aspects of cybersecurity to find criminals, and put an end to Cyber related crimes. This job is very important because it can protect innocents from being targeted in the future by predators who want to use the internet to harm. Furthermore, cybercrime majors can maybe learn to put an end to certain cyber crimes entirely. This can also include digital forensics and solving crimes such as murder by following suspects online trails.

Cyber operators are the white hat hackers who can make the software. While cybersecurity jobs protect and defend software cyber ops builds them. Cyber operators are basically the architects of the cyber community while cybersecurity is the real estate agents or buyers.

Cyber security law and policy helps create cybersecurity laws for the whole system to run on. They work on the government side and create the rules and polices for the cyber operators. This course outlines the abilities and restrictions that the workers in the field are to expect based on the U.S laws. This group is cybersecurity but on a national level as they create policies, laws, and regulations.

Cyber management and leadership is a major that strengthens the leaders on the cybersecurity teams. Including how to work in groups to work towards a greater goal, how to lead said teams, and how to create a strategic change in their groups.
